- Q: Can I use my health insurance benefits?
- A: Yes. Jennifer is a current Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), and provided you can claim massage expenses through your benefits you can use the electronically emailed receipt she sends you to claim your benefits from your health insurance provider.
- Q: Do you do third party billing?
- A: Sort of, I am signed up with them and slowly getting used to doing this. If you would really like me to submit you can send me your info before coming and I will try after the massage. If you want to make sure your provider is covered, send a question and info using the form above. I do have the square for you to do no touch payments in case, or else e-transfers.
- Q: Do you use any lotions or scents?
- A: Yes actually I have a hypoallergenic gel lotion for your arms, and one with a scent that is for deeper muscles. If you have allergies please let me know. I also have some essential oils that you can request for on your headrest.
- Q: is there music or do we have to talk?
- A: Jennifer is pretty comfortable picking relaxing music for massage; however if you have a favourite playlist, or podcast, she has an iPhone with Spotify. You can send a 30-minute Spotify Playlist to use during the appointment, as long as it’s not too wild / annoying / offensive! You may find you also just enjoy silence, which is fine too. Talking is ok with me too but absolutely not an obligation. This is your time and I respect that.
- Q: I’m a little heavy – will the chair be able to hold me?
- A: The chair is rated for 600 pounds, so you should be OK.
- Q: I am a very tall / short person, can the chair accommodate me?
- A: The chair can be adjusted to accommodate people who range from 4′ tall to 6’6″. You should be OK; if it doesn’t work I would be surprised but will not charge you for sure.
- Q: Do I need to wear a mask? Yes we need to wear masks, and I have lots in case you need one. I have made exceptions when you are in the cradle for people that can’t breathe or have a medical reason not to…. often adding an extra disposable cover a bit away from the face. I will be masked.
- Q: Do you have a washroom that I could use if needed? Yes, we just renovated the bathroom and have soap and individual washcloths for you to use if required. The washroom and the treatment room are both right in the front area of the house.
- Q: How does parking work? I will try always have a spot on the driveway open for client’s to use. Please text me when you arrive and put on your mask. I have a spot for your coat and stuff in the treatment room. Please take your shoes off either outside or inside the house.
